#11

Are you my friend, or did you just befriend me to 'help' you achieve your desired grade? I don't like befriending people only to discover their main motive is for people to 'help' them with their assignments. I sit one on the same table as this particular person. If I were to take a quick glance at her, she would most likely be on her phone texting. A new incoming message - the phone on the table vibrates, she picks it up and replies to the text; a cycle occurs every so often. She could've put it on silent if she expects to receive texts throughout the class period. I think it's rude to do other activities while the teacher is lecturing on the given subject of the day. Usually we are given a quiz at the end of lecturing. Quizzes are based on what he mentions in his lecture. Well, because she barely pay attentions to the lecture, she ask for answers from those sitting in our table. Of course, people are willing to help since many of my classmates are nice. But helping someone who didn't pay attention and wanting help from those who did pay attention ain't fair. She doesn't deserve those A's she receives on her quizzes.

One of our recent quizzes, she used the numbers that I had from the day we walked around the great lawn. See, I wasn't with her, I was by myself walking around the lawn and she was with the rest of the people we sit with on our table. She most likely depended on one of the girl since I asked her what were her numbers to which she replied I don't know. How could she not know when all you have to do is just count your steps? Therefore, on our quiz, we both had the same everything.

The week before our recent exam, she asked me what day will be taking the exam (via Laulima) to which I replied Sunday of that week. When that day finally approached, I received a text from her what time am I taking the exam - sometime around the afternoon. And so I here I am working on the exam over an hour in, I receive a text from wanting to know the answer of the questions she doesn't know. Ahh, so that's her motive... to want to answers to the exam. I am given about five questions that were obviously rushed. What? You want me to give you the answers to these questions? Nuh uhhhh! Because every student will not have the same questions due to not cheating, I sent her a text that I don't have any of these questions. hehehe. Well, she never replied back to my text. I received another text asking me if I have these questions, but by that time I'm already done with the exam. That pretty rude of her.

This sounds like diss, doesn't it? Moral of the story, this particular girl is just using me (and others). If you're not putting effort to establishing a friendship, then I will surely do the same.

  1. Definitely using you. Ignore her! She really can't be any good to you.

Horrible. I hope her other "friends" realize her ploy as well.
